France — June 2026
Picking plums at my helpx address. The never-ending rhythm of them, raining down while I gather what I can. Hearing the crickets as I hang the laundry on the line, feeling the cool breeze moving softly across the land. Gardening. Planting into the veggie patch. Raising the tomatoes in the greenhouse above the ground, giving them space to grow. Cookin.. this year, not cleaning yet. Letting that be. And enjoying the pool, letting it cool me down in the heat. This is France, 2026. My lover and I are learning to align our agendas, to make space for what wants to come together. His new house in St Emillion area will bring us closer. This is my June. I feel happy. Content. Full. Grateful. Two dogs keep me on my toes — and tell me the truth without words. And people around me, connected souls, helping me move through this phase in life, just as they did last year. Something has already shifted since then.
