Rethinking Value

Reconnecting through reflection and network

I spent the afternoon taking care of basic needs, clearing out some heavy internal noise, and sitting quietly in the 5pm sun.

After a long nap, I found myself on LinkedIn, slowly catching up on missed posts and engaging more intentionally with my network.

Not just scanning updates, but genuinely trying to understand people—the layers behind what they share, what they are building, and what they stand for.

In that process, one theme kept resurfacing: value

What is it, really?

And how do we define it in a way that holds up beyond metrics or titles?

That question naturally brought me back to my own work with Freedom Coaching160, and the value I aim to bring into client relationships.

At its core, my coaching work supports people in making decisions that lead to a life Free from confusion.

It helps create clarity where there is confusion, by reconnecting choices to intrinsic values. The intention is to guide people toward deeper satisfaction and a stronger alignment between inner truth and the goals they choose to achieve.

In my business coaching work,a natural follow up of life coaching when intrinsic goals are followed, I also see something equally important: coaching creates space.

Space to pause, to rethink assumptions, to step out of urgency,

and to feel supported while rewriting the narrative of what work, success, and leadership can look like.

A useful insight I came across in a blog by someone in middle management stayed with me:

the idea that a value proposition is not static.

It needs to be revisited regularly, refined as we grow and as context shifts.

And that reflection goes both ways.

As we clarify the value we offer outwardly, we also tend to sharpen our sense of value inwardly..

What we stand for, what we choose, and how we show up.

Give your value some thought this week, and redefine your value proposition beyond your outer wealth..
