A Starry Night in Barcelona |

It’s a starry night here in Barcelona, and the moon is shining brightly.
As I get off the phone with a friend in the Netherlands, I suddenly see my life through her eyes — this light, relaxed, almost holiday-like way of moving through Spain and France while I work and travel.

And it hits me:
I actually built the dream I once whispered to myself.
The dream I needed more than I dared admit.

For so long I was searching for space — space to be myself, to breathe, to live life on my terms.
Tonight I can see clearly that I have it.

Not because there’s endless money.
But because the things that matter most are already with me.

Papaya for breakfast for under two euros.
A croissant and coffee for €1,50.
A new volunteer address each month, where people teach me things I didn’t even know I wanted to learn.
Moments of kindness, synchronicity, and ease showing up exactly when I need them.

This is the life I was looking for — simple, adventurous, honest.
Not a 9-to-5 routine behind a desk.
But a life shaped by curiosity, movement, and alignment.

And as I sit under this bright moon in Barcelona, I realize something gentle and beautiful:
Sometimes the dream arrives quietly.
Not with fireworks, but with a soft “yes” inside your own chest.

Tonight, that yes is very clear.
